How Much Fun Do We Have???

I was just checking out some of our photo’s with a huge smile on my face, We have had an amazing year, what i thought was really cool was how well all the kids get along, they all look out for each other, and how much fun we all have together. From parents yelling out “You can Do It” with crazy accents, to the fun we had at our Xmas BBQ, to our trip away. Dreamworld was great, running T shirts up flag poles and food fights…...... Renee. But when you look at all the photos the smiles on the all the kids faces makes every thing sooooo worth it. Win or loose that is an awsome team. Thanx to every one at ECA and all the amazing memories for our first year xxxx

Nationals

Well we leave bright and early tomorrow morning for Brisbane. From all reports most of the storm damage has been on the North West side of the city, and after talking to a couple of parents who have spoken with there various hotels, looks like we are away from the worst hit areas, as we are at Chandler on the South side of the city. We have planned a fun and relaxed day on Friday at Dreamworld, with a couple of practices thrown in the mix. Competition starts Saturday, with the Junior Pom, and stunt groups. Sunday is the big day with Cody & Molly starting the day with there partner stunt & finals for individual events, (Good luck Teegan), and all 3 teams have there Cheer events. All the kids have worked extremley hard over the past 8 months on there routines, with Dez & Kass stepping up the dificulty since State, and the Teens moving up a level. I know all the kids are really looking forward to meeting other cheerleaders from around Australia that share the same passion. After the big presentation on Sunday afternoon, the AASCF are throwing a pool party for all the athletes next door at the Sleeman Centre. Then we bus all the exhausted kids (& carers) home on Monday. I would like to say a very special & big thank you to all those Cheer Mum’s & Dads, who have volunteered there time to help make this trip so special. We probably won’t get a chance to fill everyone from sportsplay in on our progress till early next week, but we will have plenty of fun stories & pics to share. Stay tuned…........
