Congratulations ECA Falcons for all your hard work through out 2008! You have excelled in all that you have taken on! Continue to work as a team, and love your sport and each other! I am so proud of each of you, for the personal achievements you have made. Some of you could not do hand stands or cart wheels at the beginning of the year – NOW LOOK AT YOU! WOW!!! Those of you who excelled at other sports before joing ECA – have adapted so well and been inspirational to other team members. Thanks for sharing your skills and your time! And to Kass and Dezz – a massive thank you. Your dreams became reality – and what a mind-blowing first year for a new business and a new sport to our region. ENJOY CHRISTMAS everyone – cos it’s back to the training and hard work, starting Jan 5th with your 3 day Cheer Clinic ;-) LOL! MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Cheerleading is a sport that uses organised routines made from elements of tumbling, dance, jumps and stunting to direct spectators of events to cheer on sports teams at games and matches and/or compete at cheerleading competitions. The athlete involved is called a cheerleader. The growing presentation of the sport to a global audience has been led by the 1997 start of broadcasts of cheerleading competitions by ESPN International and the worldwide release of the 2000 film “Bring it On”. Due in part to this recent exposure, there are now an estimated 100,000 participants scattered around the rest of the world in countries including Australia, China, Colombia, France, Germany, Japan, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Sweden and the United Kingdom.

Cheer Mums and Dads
Like in all sport it is amazing how parents take there kids along to every practice…....every game or event…....We will help to fundraise…....we are there when you hurt yourselves….....We are there for the wins & the Loss’s…......Since my girls started Cheerleading I have found a special bunch of supportive parent…... “THE CHEER MUM” We have so much fun, (We even got our very own ‘Cheer Mum’ T shirts) We cheer on every team. And have so much fun together, The kids know that they can come to any of us and we will help. Not only do all the kids look out for one another but us Cheer Mums do too. Thanks to all those Cheer Mums And Dads who have tirlessly supported every kid in ECA.

How Much Fun Do We Have???
I was just checking out some of our photo’s with a huge smile on my face, We have had an amazing year, what i thought was really cool was how well all the kids get along, they all look out for each other, and how much fun we all have together. From parents yelling out “You can Do It” with crazy accents, to the fun we had at our Xmas BBQ, to our trip away. Dreamworld was great, running T shirts up flag poles and food fights…...... Renee. But when you look at all the photos the smiles on the all the kids faces makes every thing sooooo worth it. Win or loose that is an awsome team. Thanx to every one at ECA and all the amazing memories for our first year xxxx
